Aithon SFS are regularly engaged by design teams / contractors to assess the inherent fire resistance of concrete structures and when insufficient cover exists, a coating solution is engineered to upgrade the inherent fire resistance to meet current legislation thresholds.

Aithon SFS, in compliance with The Golden Thread Principles enshrined in the Building Safety Act, utilises a third party Fire Engineer to verify each stage of design and application.

This independent verification validates the products use, paint loadings calculations, substrate suitability and application. Upon completion, the third party fire engineer will provide a project specific Structural Report ( According to BS EN 1992-1-2) which confirms the fire resistance upgrade to the structure.

All Aithon SFS projects can provide a full warranty on both the design and application.
