Application & Verification
In House Application Teams
Aithon SFS provide a ‘concept to completion’ service. All Aithon SFS projects are completed by in-house application teams who are specifically trained in applying intumescent coatings to concrete structures.
Verification
Aithon SFS, in compliance with the Golden Thread principle enshrined in the Building Safety Act, utilises a third party Fire Engineer to verify each stage of the project from design to application.
This independent verification validates the products use, paint loadings calculations, substrate suitability and coating application. Upon completion of a project, the verifying Fire Engineer will provide a project specific Structural Report ( According to BS EN 1992-1-2) which confirms the fire resistance upgrade to the structure.
Warranty
All verified Aithon SFS projects can provide a project specific full warranty on both the design and application.
